How We Work with You

Our trademarked Strategic Gaming® process helps you anticipate and influence the actions and reactions of other decision makers with a systematic, efficient, and creative approach that enables executives to make decisions quickly and with confidence. Our process is collaborative and involves three steps:

  1. Dynamic Framing: First, we work with you and your team to identify the key players, the choices each player can make, the potential sequences of choices and events, and the uncertainties and risks. These are mapped out in “game trees,” which provide you with structure and quick insights about potential levers you may have, competitive blind spots, signals that may be communicated, key decision drivers, and high-level strategic direction.
  2. Strategy Evaluation: Next, we work with you and your team to quantify potential game outcomes from each player’s perspective. This critical step allows your company to anticipate the likely actions and reactions of other players, helping you to understand what strategic paths will be most effective in influencing others and shaping the game.
  3. Execution Planning: The process culminates in the development of a dynamic road map that spells out a team’s moves and countermoves under all key contingencies, including tactical details. This final step cements team alignment and enables you to implement the strategy effectively and shape the game to your advantage.

Our projects are tailored to your needs. This tailoring generally depends on the balance of urgency, complexity and the value at risk. Projects may require only a few days when urgency makes it necessary or when the framing step is sufficient to resolve the issue. Our clients generally request longer projects in situations with more complexity, a larger number of players and consequences that will have a major impact on the bottom line.
